Winter Indoor Programs

With 2010 just around the corner it's time for all baseball player's interested in sharpening their skills before the spring season to start thinking about signing up for the 2010 KMBA Winter Ball Program at the Capital News Center. This year KMBA has some new and exciting things on the go in Winter Ball for player's aged 10-16.

We will be offering two time slots on Monday nights starting January 11 th - March 22 nd (No Sessions Mar. 8 th) for players aged 10-14. The time slots are from 3:45 to 5:40 and 5:45 to 7:40. The cost for registration in this group will be $100.00 per player and will get you 20 hrs of instruction from KMBA coaches starting the early part of January. Our coaches will be covering many skills during Winter Ball including infielding, outfielding, pitching, catching and baserunning. There will also be elements of fitness and health covered in our program, as well as a whole lot of fun!

We also will be offering, for the first time this year, a program on Friday afternoons starting January 15 th - March 5 th , for the more serious and advanced players aged 12-16. This time slot, from 3:45-5:45, will be instructed by the Head Coach of Okanagan College Baseball Team, Geoff White. We would encourage players who have an interest in playing All Star Baseball in the summer to come out for Fridays and improve upon their skills. As this program is more advanced it will cost $150.00 per player. There will also be room for Bantam aged players who aren't already playing Bantam AAA or JPBL to come out for Friday nights.

Another first for our winter program is a time slot dedicated for the Halos, the all girl's baseball program, on Saturdays starting January 16 th - March 13 th from 11:45 - 1:45.
